We are created and redeemed to participate in the glorious love of the Trinity: We, as individuals and as a community, want to live daily in response to God’s love which is continually poured out to us in Christ by the Spirit. 1723 Ministries exists to invite others to enjoy this incredible reality for themselves and equip them to spread God’s goodness in their communities and ministries.

Our guiding resource is God’s Word, which sanctifies us in his truth: We believe that God is an effective communicator and that his Word is a lens to see and experience his love. We desire to expose our hearts to God’s heart by chasing him in his story, the Bible. We believe a community filled with the Spirit, engaging the Spirit’s book is the context for spiritual growth and replication.

We embrace life-to-life, heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit ministry: We recognize that pursuing Christ requires a community shaped by Christ’s love and directed by his Spirit. We believe biblical spiritual transformation must have the context of authentic relationships where each person loves Christ and expresses such love concretely with one another. Without such relationships expressed in authenticity, vulnerability, and grace, instruction can quickly create an appearance of godliness but denies its power (2 Tim 3:5).

Warm Environments: We understand that due to the busyness of modern life and the confusion of the constant changes occurring within our society, we offer spaces where people are comfortable enough to rest, slow down, contemplate, and open up. Therefore, we believe warm is the new cool and seek to create home-like environments that allow for rest and focused conversation concerning life’s biggest and most important questions. We believe such spaces are required for life-to-life, heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit relationships to form and inspire a love for Christ.

Discipleship Driven: Not only do we want to fulfill Christ’s great, new command to love others as he has loved us, but we also join him in the great commission. We desire to make disciples after God’s own heart who will make disciples after God’s own heart.

We seek to reflect God’s humility: We believe that God has demonstrated his humility in sending his Son, who counts us as more significant than himself (Phil. 2:5-11). We recognize that we cannot do anything apart from Christ and desire to serve alongside him in cleansing his church with the water of the Word. We are but small, empty beggars who want to make our joy complete as we abide in Christ’s love and word. A concrete expression of that love is expressed in our desire to invite others to have similar hearts and to form ministries marked by Christ’s love.

We esteem and serve the Church, Christ’s beloved body: Jesus established the church to make known his Father’s name so that the love the Father has for his Son may be in the church and draw the world to such love (John 17:26). We seek to equip the church to multiply believers who are captured by the glorious love of the Trinity.
